Large Hailstones and Widespread Destruction

Moist weather were predicted to continue along significant areas of Queensland's east this next several days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.

The following day was expected to become the wettest day, with continued severe weather risk expected across multiple regions of both regions.

Public health experts alerted that there was an higher risk of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the northern rural areas, specifically given the current weather patterns.
